Watch: Supreme Court takes up Mamata’s plea on electoral roll revisions

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee appeared before a CJI-led Supreme Court Bench challenging the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in the State. Alleging large-scale voter deletions and lack of transparency by the Election Commission, the Court raised concerns over unexplained discrepancies and issued notice to the ECI on appointing micro-observers. The matter will be heard next on February 9.
