Kerala moots burning ivory stockpile for commercial use of ash

Kerala considers the possibility of burning nearly 13 tonnes of ivory, valued at approximately ₹260 crore, in compliance with Central directives aimed at disposing of wildlife articles. The ash, considered to possess medicinal properties, could be used for Ayurvedic medicine production.
