Karnataka BJP MLA Chandru Lamani caught taking Rs 5 lakh bribe

BJP MLA Chandru Lamani was apprehended by Lokayukta police in Gadag district while allegedly accepting a Rs 5 lakh bribe from a contractor. The MLA, a medical practitioner, was caught during a raid at his hospital in Laxmeshwar. He had reportedly demanded an 11% commission for a construction project.
