A Dalit Class VIII student in Mainpuri was allegedly assaulted and abused by a teacher and school official after being blamed for a broken pipe. The 14-year-old sustained injuries and was threatened with death if he returned to school. An FIR has been registered under the SC/ST Act and other relevant sections.
