OpenAI is reportedly exploring a deal with NATO for its AI technology on unclassified networks, a distinction from its Pentagon contract for classified systems. This follows a Pentagon deal where OpenAI agreed not to use its AI for domestic surveillance of US persons. CEO Sam Altman acknowledged the negative PR but deemed the Pentagon decision "right."
